China: some observations

My preconceived notions about tour groups are correct: I don’t like them.
A palace is a palace is a palace. But the Summer Palace was really nice.
Chairman Mao looks great on merchandise.
The Great Wall is really steep!
Chinese people are really intense, especially when they’re wishing you a Happy New Year!!!
